HiringCafe is a job search engine that indexes open roles from company career pages and brings them into one searchable database.
It covers Remote, Hybrid, Onsite, and Field roles, with filters for job title, location, experience, salary, company size, industry, funding stage, and more. When you find a role you want to apply for, you will usually continue to the employer’s own career page or applicant tracking system.
As of September 2026, HiringCafe said its search index had grown to more than 5 million jobs and the service had more than 2 million monthly active users. Alongside its traditional Classic search, HiringCafe now offers Talent Agent, an AI job-search feature that can use your resume and preferences to keep looking for matching roles. The company also announced a $6.8 million funding round led by Spark Capital in the same month.
Where do HiringCafe jobs come from?
HiringCafe pulls jobs directly from company career pages.
That matters because not every opening listed on an employer’s website also appears on LinkedIn, Indeed, or another large job board. HiringCafe puts many of those company listings into one place so you do not have to check dozens of career pages manually.
Co-founder Ali Mir has described HiringCafe as a job search engine rather than a traditional job board. HiringCafe helps you discover the listing, but the actual application normally happens on the employer’s career site or ATS.
Before applying, it is still worth opening the original listing to check the location, salary, visa requirements, and whether the role is still accepting applications.
Talent Agent vs. Classic Search
HiringCafe currently gives job seekers two main ways to find roles: Talent Agent and Classic Search.
Talent Agent
Talent Agent is useful when you do not want to rebuild the same job search every day.
You can provide your resume and describe the kind of role you want. HiringCafe then uses that information to look for jobs that match your background and preferences, including newly indexed positions.
For example:
Remote software engineer role, 3+ years experience, salary above $100k.
Instead of treating this as a one-off keyword search, Talent Agent can use those requirements together with your resume when looking for matches.
HiringCafe moved Talent Agent out of beta in September 2026. At launch, it was available to users in the United States and free for job seekers.
If you only check jobs occasionally, Classic Search is usually quicker. If you are actively applying and want new matching roles to keep surfacing, Talent Agent is the more useful option.
Classic Search
Classic Search works more like a conventional job search engine.
Enter a job title, keyword, or location, then narrow the results with filters such as Remote, experience level, salary, company size, or industry.
If you already know exactly what you are looking for and want full control over the filters, Classic is usually the easier place to start.
You can also search HiringCafe jobs through ChatGPT
HiringCafe also offers a ChatGPT App that lets you search its job data from a conversation.
You can ask for software engineering roles in a particular city, remote jobs, or positions that meet specific salary, experience, or company criteria.
At the moment, this is mainly a search and discovery tool. It does not submit job applications for you.
HiringCafe has more detailed job filters than most basic search tools
Classic Search goes well beyond job title and location.
You can narrow results by experience, salary, work arrangement, education, benefits, company size, industry, and funding stage.
For example, someone looking for a software engineering role could start with Remote, add an experience range and minimum salary, then narrow the results further by industry, funding stage, or company size.
Those extra filters are most useful when you already know the kind of company and role you want. They reduce the amount of time spent opening listings that were never a good fit in the first place.
Can you find remote jobs on HiringCafe?
Yes. HiringCafe includes Remote, Hybrid, Onsite, and Field roles, so you can use it specifically for remote jobs or keep other work arrangements in the same search.
If you only want remote positions, select Remote and combine it with filters such as Location, Experience, Salary, and job title.
One distinction matters here: remote does not always mean worldwide.
A remote job may still be limited to a specific country, state, time zone, or work authorization. Before applying, check the employer’s listing for location and eligibility requirements instead of assuming any Remote role can be done from anywhere.
Is HiringCafe free?
HiringCafe’s job search is currently free for job seekers, and Classic Search can be used to browse public listings.
Talent Agent was also launched as a free feature for job seekers in September 2026, although its initial availability is focused on users in the United States.
HiringCafe also includes Sponsored Jobs. Sponsored listings are labeled, and the company says sponsorship does not change the ranking of other organic job results.
HiringCafe vs. Indeed and LinkedIn
HiringCafe, Indeed, and LinkedIn can all help you find jobs, but they do not collect and present listings in exactly the same way.
HiringCafe puts more emphasis on indexing jobs directly from employer career pages and recruiting systems. That can surface openings that are still live on a company’s website but may not appear on every large job board.
In practice, HiringCafe works more like a search layer across many company career sites. It helps you find and filter the role, while the actual application normally happens on the employer’s own site or through an ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday.
That does not mean Indeed or LinkedIn lack employer-sourced jobs. The difference is that searching company career pages is much more central to how HiringCafe is built.
Is HiringCafe legit? What about expired jobs and ghost jobs?
HiringCafe is a real job search service, and most of its listings come from employer career pages. It also checks job status and filters some duplicate, expired, or low-quality listings.
According to HiringCafe, the system periodically checks whether the original Apply page is still active, with checks currently running roughly every four hours. If an employer removes a job from its career page, the corresponding HiringCafe listing can also be removed.
The service also tries to reduce duplicate listings, certain staffing-agency results, and old jobs that repeatedly refresh their posting dates.
None of that completely solves the ghost-job problem.
A job can still be visible on a company website even if hiring has paused, a candidate has already been selected, or the employer simply has not removed the listing yet.
For any role you seriously want to apply to, check the original posting date, location, work-authorization requirements, and application domain.
A normal application will usually send you to the employer’s website or an ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday. Be cautious if someone asks you to pay money, buy gift cards, transfer funds, or provide banking information before a legitimate hiring process has started.

FAQ
Does HiringCafe automatically apply to jobs for you?
No. Talent Agent helps understand your job preferences, find matching roles, and keep surfacing new opportunities. You normally still complete the application yourself on the employer’s career page or ATS.
Can you use HiringCafe outside the United States?
You can search and view jobs in different locations, but whether you are eligible to apply depends on the employer’s location, work-authorization, country, and time-zone requirements.
This is especially important for remote jobs: a Remote label does not automatically mean the employer accepts applicants worldwide.
Talent Agent was launched in September 2026 with availability focused on users in the United States.
How is HiringCafe different from RemoteOK and Remotive?
HiringCafe is a broader job search engine that covers Remote, Hybrid, Onsite, and Field roles.
RemoteOK and Remotive are more heavily focused on remote jobs. If remote work is your only target, all three can be useful. If you also want hybrid or onsite roles from regular company career pages, HiringCafe covers a wider range of work arrangements.
